• Bioesans Biotechnology Products S.A works with three national Research and Development Centers together with federal universities, where innovative products and processes are developed. Each R&D Center is responsible for a specific technology / process.

    • RESEARCH CENTRE IN SANTA MARIA - RS

At the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM), BIOESANS works with a Pilot Molecular Distiller to develop and obtain high-purity ingredients, such as Tocopherols (Vitamin E), extracted from the soybean oil and Beta-carotene (pro-Vitamin A), obtained from palm oil.

    • RESEARCH CENTRE IN RECIFE – PE

At ITCBio (Technological Institute for Biosustainable Chains) and in Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), we use biotechnological processes to develop and obtain Prebiotic products, using sugarcane as a substrate to obtain 1,6 Betaglucana.

In addition to Betaglucana, it will also be developed and produced in the BIOESANS Research and Development Laboratory, the Hydrolyzed Collagen Peptide on a pilot scale (1000 kg / month)

    • RESEARCH CENTRE IN BELEM- PA

Biotec Amazônia and the Federal University of Pará (UFPA) are responsible for the “Supercritical Extraction” technology, where it’s possible to obtain extracts and bioactive fractions of aromatic, spicy and medicinal plants, from the Amazon biome.

Fruits such as Murici, Açai, Yellow Uxi and others will be used in the pilot supercritical extractor, to make it possible to be able for developing innovative processes to obtain different kind of extracts.

In this R&D centre, several amino acids will also be developed through microbiological fermentation, using bioreactors and genetic technology.
